”Beware that this is 4.5 hours away from the San Jose Airport! They do NOT inform anyone of this and you need to get to the Ferry to cross over to Tambor which is not 24/7 You need to plan very carefully so you don't lose a day like I did and so many others did that I met at the Hotel. They are also very aware of this and have done nothing about it!! The buffet food is ok. Not the best, but not the worst. You will find something. The Italian ala carte restaurant is excellent! ”It was a good two night stay. View is amazing! Food is good, nothing extaordinary. A good get away by myself. The music by the pool is pumping from 7am until very late at night and very loud. If want peace and quiet, this is not for you. People were partying and making noice until very late.”

”To big area, moving difficult despite the shuttle. Entering to Hotel difficult. Although we had reservation number in mobile phone the guards hesitated to let us enter the Hotel area. In the reseptiin they asked us a printed copy of out reservation, nyt how could we have it because i had booked Hotel with mobile phone. They claimed that now they have more paper work. Toi bad, it's their job. Any way it would not have helped them, it was in Finnish. Food was good. The wibration of neighbour rooms...

”What a wonderful hotel! I can’t imagine a better place for our family to spend a week. We loved the views from the restaurants and pools, and especially from our room (gorgeous vistas over the jungle and monkeys swinging in a tree just off our balcony.) Our room was beautiful and so comfortable and well appointed. Staff is amazing. We enjoyed the beach below the hotel, the jungle walk, the yoga studio and the bird walk. ”I loved the Surfo House. All the staff were so nice and helpful. The view is spectacular from the balconies. It’s truly a close community at the Surfo House! I will definitely be staying there again! ”

”This place was a great choice, 2min walk from Samara beach, staff was friendly, they had onsite food available, very nice bar beverages options by the pool. Pool was kid friendly with some stairs and nice shade during the day. Room had nice A/C and very comfortable beds, was very spacious and had very nice seating area.
