”This resort is really outdated (atleast the tower were we stayed – they were doing some renovations there though) We were happy that we only booked one night. It is really close to Kailua-Kona center (but was quiet still which was great), so it was walkable and the trolley takes you to some beaches. ”

”This place is an absolute dump. I don't think it would pass for a 2-star hotel in Europe or Asia. Don't book the ocean view room, the windows will rattle to a point where it's impossible to sleep with the slightest of waves. The prices are beyond ludicrous. Spent a few nights here, expecting this to be the dream Hawaiian getaway after trekking around the island - it was the worst hotel we stayed in. We had to change rooms 3 times to get something remotely habitable... this at a $400/night...

”Great week in a spacious villa with nice views over the golf course to ocean. Having breakfast in the balcony was unforgettable. The bed was confortable and all utilities we needed were available. We would choose this place again.”

”We went to once-in-a-lifetime trip to Hawaii and we chose this place. The views, pools and the wild life are amazing but; here is only one place to get breakfest (sandwich 20$!!), coffeeplaces closes at 11am (coffee 8$ and croissant 15$), places to eat are too expensive (pasta and meatballs 50$). Luckily there is marketplace near by (15min walk or shuttle bus 5$)and the rooms have small fridge. We didnt know the resortfee which was high! But I have to say that this Hilton area felt very safe and...

”So as Marriott properties go, this one is spectactular. The beds were comfortable--great bathrooms, FREE washer dryer (so great at the end of the day to dry the bathing suits) and free water bottles and water filling stations everywhere. You also have access to the Mauna Kea (next hotel up the beach) where the food is better (and more expensive) and there's a different beach for a change of scenery. We rarely visit a place twice, but Hapuna Beach is pretty close to perfect. ”

”Quiet, spacious, well kept units with lots of amenities. Three bedrooms with comfortable beds, pillows, and linens. Lots of storage space. We stopped at Costco on our way from the airport (about 35 mins away). Loved seeing turkeys, nenes, and golfers on course from our back balconies.”

”This place is a real gem! Private deck overlooking the sea where whales are jumping, the waves crash into the pool and the landscaping is breathtaking. the pool is warm the closet hid a bed and there were tvs in the master bedroom and the living/dining room area. the dishwasher was dirty inside and some of the plates were not cleaned well but the views and quiet and ease of access to downtown and sight seeing was worth a few seconds of dish scrubbing. What a pleasure to stay in such a nice place...
