”Excellent location. Room was different than expected with pictures shown. They are a mix of rooms. Once I figured out some things, all was amazing. Quiet. Safe. Comfortable.Great location for exploring the island. Walkable small beaches. Received a lot of different emails about the property and checking in. It made it confusing but figured it out. Its kind of like staying in a friend's guest room. Never really saw anyone.”

”The induction cooktop was great. Outside shower worked well. We had trouble with Internet, it was a poor signal. Would suggest Star Link. The bedsheets kept popping off the bed. Got a couple beautiful sunset pictures from the porch. ”

”Hosts are welcoming and kind. Delightful kids. Love that this is just a family business. Everything is very clean, up to date and beautiful art. Would stay here again. Highly recommend ”

”This was perfect for a family vacation to the Big Island. Each family unit has their own private space, but we could come together for meals, games, and relaxation. The location was ideal for a drive over to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park or Punalu'u black sand beach.”

”Great place just down the road from the National Park. Took 5 minutes or so to get to the main entrance. The unit is part of the main residence, which was quiet, however you could hear the wood creek above you when the residence walks. Like all Hawaii you are subject to the roosters waking you up early but definitely recommend if you need a place to crash VERY close to the park.”

”Overall beautiful property. However there was no available closet space and the rooms were rather small with our luggage in the way. We do notice juvenile cockroaches within the bathroom and kitchen spaces.”

”What a great place! We had a wonderful stay at this cute tiki cottage. The hosts had Hawaiian music playing when first arrived which was a really nice touch. Very well maintained grounds, beautiful flowers throughout. The tiki decor in the house was so fun and very well done. We had a relaxing evening on the lanai listening to the rain and kept cozy with lots of blankets because it does get cold at night. There was a heated mattress pad on the bed which was lovely. House was very clean and host...

”This house was fantastic! Our family of 6, 2 adults and 4 teenagers had more than enough room. It’s not easy finding properties that can comfortably accommodate all of us at a reasonable price, this one was perfect. Tons of space and amazing wraparound deck/porch to add to the overall living space. Everything was very clean. The location is good too, short drive to every thing you can imagine. It was comforting knowing that the property caretaker lives down stairs, but we never heard or saw them...

”A wonderful guesthouse a few miles outside of town. It had everything we needed and the communication with the owners was great. The only small downside was the combo washer/dryer took 5 hours to do a very small load and we couldn't use it overnight because it was right next to the pullout bed.”
