”Excellent location. Room was different than expected with pictures shown. They are a mix of rooms. Once I figured out some things, all was amazing. Quiet. Safe. Comfortable.Great location for exploring the island. Walkable small beaches. Received a lot of different emails about the property and checking in. It made it confusing but figured it out.
Its kind of like staying in a friend's guest room. Never really saw anyone.”

”After following our GPS to the property which was easy to find even in the dark we pulled into the covered parking area. The door to the room is inside the garage with a passcode and once you get in the room is to your right, the bathroom is directly ahead, and a keypad protected door to the rest of your house is to the right. ”A wonderful guesthouse a few miles outside of town. It had everything we needed and the communication with the owners was great. The only small downside was the combo washer/dryer took 5 hours to do a very small load and we couldn't use it overnight because it was right next to the pullout bed.”

”This place is a great - hosts are amazing people. They are intelligent, passionate, flexible, and friendly.
Sunsrise view is great. Incredibly safe environment. You really feel like you have a degree of quiet separation from the bustle of Hilo that is only a short drive away. So best of both worlds.
The tradeoff is that the village access does require a short drive on unpaved roads. So prepare mentally that this is a slightly more secluded location.
You get a simple but thoughtfully...
