”Very friendly and polite staff from checking in until we left. Easy parking, the room was lovely, comfy bed and a tasty breakfast. If anything it was too warm for me but we turned off the radiator and opened the windows which very easily solved that. Overall we loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again.”

”Clean and quiet at back of pub and ground floor room accommodated my daughter’s disability. BUT, you need some hooks on back of bathroom door and a towel ring or similar. And the shower temperature was not consistent- far too hot or too cool.”

”Very comfortable stay in this character hotel. Excellent breakfast and evening meal. Only slight criticism was the opening hours and the check in and check out times. Staff very pleasant and accommodating.”

”Raj was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean and bed comfortable,hot water in shower. Good size breakfast. The hotel could do with a bit of spruce up, but for what I paid,I was very happy and will return again when the time comes. Thank you Raj for your hospitality.”

”Such a wonderful little hotel in an ideal location. 5 minute walk from the pier and arcades, 15 minutes or so to both shopping centres ( Gunwharf/cascades ) with the theatre being even closer if that is included in your poa for your time away! Lovely clean rooms, quite a personal experience with only me and my wife with the owner at breakfast but we liked it that way. Would recommend to anyone and will be back soon! Also lovely bar and atmosphere for drinks in the evening.”

”Fishbourne Inn on lähellä rantaa, kauniissa ympäristössä. Terassi on laaja ja merinäkymällä. Huoneet ovat kauniit ja aistikkaat. Ruoka ei mitenkään erikoista, tavallista englantilaista. Lähellä mm. Quarr Abbey, munkkiluostari teehuoneineen. Ehdottomasti sillä alueella kannattaa yöpyä tässä hotellissa.”

”Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends.”

”really pleased, very comfortable and staff were great. Food was very nice (especially the breakfast). Only slight issue is the room was quite cold but did eventually warm up with the air con unit. There was a note saying new windows are being put in though and it was -2 outside”

”We spent 5 excellent days over Christmas, creating some wonderful memories. This was the second time we stayed here, with the added excitement of families together at Xmas. The house is large so plenty of space for everyone. All beds very comfortable Extensive gardens, and all kinds of outdoor games and outdoor equipment for all ages. Take your microwave as this helps a lot to supplement AGA cooking if you’re not used to cooking on one!”

”Bungalow is in a great area for walking, with views of the Needles and sunsets from the back. Well equipped - even has an air fryer. We found it a comfortable place to relax after a day out and about. ”

”Location was perfect, easy to get everywhere. And we loved our small kitchen, it was handy and there was everything you could imagine to need. Althaugh the room could have been cleaner. There was a bit dust and crumbs everywhere, as if the room had not been vacuumed at all. Also air conditioning was surprisingly noisy, the whole room was resonating, so it didn't help to switch it off. But overall it was a ok stay in a good price.”

"Definately good hotel, maybe not quite living up five star status. Our third hotel stay during the same week, so it is easy to compare with other being four stars. The staff are doing their best, but glitches in new room cards and reception procedures left a sour taste. The place at the shore is nice, alltough part of the view is blocked by harbour warehouses. It is a bit far from the city centre by walking. The bar at the top has a nice view, but is noisy. All in all good experience, but not exceptionel."
