”We stayed for two nights on a business trip. The location is great! The room was quite spacious but worn. Airconditionong was very loud and did not seem to be heating at all. You could hear the noise from the street very clearly so we had to sleep with noise cancelling headphones. The staff seemed frustrated in general and did not even wish us a good day when we left or ask how our stay was. We ender up changing hotels for our remaining 3 nights and it was definitely worth it.”

Some noise from the streets carried very clearly to the room (7th floor), so it interrupted the sleep on occasion. The advertised breakfast was a disappointment - it’s just a coffee and a sweet pastry, which we had to request separately when the front desk said it’s not included in our stay (what it was and luckily we had it stated on the reservation).”

”We came to the UES to visit our daughters. The hotel was in an excellent location - close to parks, the river, coffee shops, etc. Service was great. The staff were all warm, friendly and helpful. There’s free wine and popcorn in the afternoon and coffee in the morning. Our room was clean and a nice size. The only downside is that it’s an older hotel and in need of renovation - although I believe that’s being worked on. Overall, a very pleasant stay!”

”We just wrapped up a 10-day stay at Hotel Beacon in New York City, and it was the perfect spot for our family. Traveling with two small kids can be tricky, but this hotel made it much easier. The kitchenette in our room was an absolute lifesaver—having a place to whip up quick meals or snacks for the little ones was such a relief. It’s not something you find in every NYC hotel, so it really set this place apart for us. The location on the Upper West Side is fantastic. We were just a short walk...
