”We visited WA RAK for a week with the family. The place is quite posh but service etc very friendly and down to earth. Restaurants were unfortunately very expensive, especially with kids wh may decide after ordering that they are not hungry. Only "negative" things were: there was supposed to be a pillow menu service. We were never offered that. Also our personal consierge sent 4 SMS's but never replied to any of our messages. Apart from that, a great place and we will definately visit again. ”

When there was a slight glitch in one of the services, the staff not only have resolved the matter promptly but exceeded expectations in terms of service recovery. ”On arrival the reception warned me that my room next to the pool would be very noisy, so instead they gave me a room further away. Sound insulation? Apparently no, and the pool bar is open until 2am. The place seems fine at fist glance, but some things start to annoy: wifi didn't work and bathtub doesn't have a plug. ”Lovely four nights spent in the hotel. Staff are super friendly and helpful and the set up was ideal for our desire to chill for a few days. The only caveat we would mention was the unfortunate noise from construction alongside the hotel, but that is the price you sometimes have to accept in a state expanding at the pace of Dubai. This was our second visit and I would have no problems returning. Great for families too.”
