”We had a wonderful November week in NYC thanks also to this characteristic little brownstone apartment, located near the strategic 125th subway stop, so it was possible to get back and forth several times in a day. Cozy and comfortable for 2 people, overlooking the inner courtyard, very quiet and with small kitchen where you can prepare your breakfast and some hot food. Be sure to visit the neighborhood, with some nice walks to the North and West! ”

”On the listing it said this room would sleep 6, but it really only sleeps 2. I spoke with the property manager and he said he would lay down a mattress (there were 4 of us) and when we got there they refused to do that. We were forced to book a 2nd room. ”

”My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Samwan Lake. The house was updated and had all the conveniences of home and then some! We enjoyed sipping our coffee on the rear deck. It was quiet peaceful and clean. Communication was outstanding. We are already planning a family trip back to Swan Lake this summer.”

”Large brownstone divided in half. One side for owners other side for guests. 6 small guest rooms sharing 2 bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Heaters in each room that were sufficient during the extremely cold weather. Lots of art work decorating the rooms and halls. Very tiny bathrooms. Dreary interior could be vastly improved with table lamps Great deli on the nearby corner and great restaurant. Pita Point and Good Friends Deli. Grinstead of the overhead lighting.”

”From start to finish we had an excellent one-month stay in this beautiful expansive home. The owner was prompt and professional with all of our questions and requests and went out of the way to ensure our comfort. The home itself was immaculately handed over to us, stocked with linens, towels and kitchen materials. It is an older property, but does not lack in cleanliness and all appliances and bathrooms were in perfect order. We cooked many meals in the large kitchen and a large group of 7...

”12 of us met here for a fun weekend enjoying g the Christmas decor, lights and parade in Cape May! The house was a great size for all of us to cook, eat, play games, enjoy the hot tub and a quick drive to downtown.”

”The hotel was old, but clean and tidy. The room had everything needed. But one evening we had to contact the maintenance, because we didn’t have any warm water. The water from every tab and the shower was freezing cold. After contacting the reception the maintenance came. After a while the maintenance told us we should keep the water running from every tab for at least 15minutes and then we could have warm water. We did so and could take a shower. "In overall a ok experience. It was a bit hard to operate the elevators. There was also a water maintenance break which we didn’t know since we were not informed."

"Huone oli siivottu vähän huonosti. Sängyn alta löytyi jonkun käytetty kasvomaski, kertakäyttö lusikka ja hammasväliharja sekä pölyä. Hyvä pieni huone keskeisellä paikalla. Hyvät kulkuyhteydet kävellen, metrolla ja bussilla. Alakerrassa hyvä aamiaispaikka sekä ravintola. Ulkoa tuleva melu on ajottain kovaa. Ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta."

"Excelent location, friendly staff. The room was spacious enough and cleaned every other day. Breakfast was ok, we would like to have some vegetables as well, but otherwise it was very good. Sometimes the elevators were a bit busy, but it didn’t bother us too much. "

Good location but rooms need updating

"We stayed for two nights on a business trip. The location is great! The room was quite spacious but worn. Airconditionong was very loud and did not seem to be heating at all. You could hear the noise from the street very clearly so we had to sleep with noise cancelling headphones. The staff seemed frustrated in general and did not even wish us a good day when we left or ask how our stay was. We ender up changing hotels for our remaining 3 nights and it was definitely worth it."

"Hotelli oli toki arvostettu jo etukäteen kahdella tähdellä mutta kyllä huone olisi tarvinnut todella päivityksen, kylpyhuoneessa ainakin siellä peili rikki ja kylpyamme todella surkeassa kunnossa."
