”Our second stay at this fabulous property. A lovely upscale place just off the 101, perfect when traveling but would love to spend a little time there. Close to Santa Barbara and Ventura with a lovely little town down the street with shops, coffee and a great restaurant. A must stay! ”

”Everyone who worked at the Inn was extremely nice & helpful. The breakfasts & happy hours were outstanding. If I had one negative, it was the very low output of the shower; they need to increase the pressure (via new showerhead or remove any sort of limiter in the head). Otherwise, everything was great, including the daily room service to freshen up the room, towels, etc”

”The location was a 8-minute walk to the boardwalk which was nice, the bed, wifi and TV were fine. The pool was indoors, filled with screaming children and honestly looked pretty gross. The lobby appeared to be in state of remodeling and was closed at night, so there was no access to the lobby bathroom. The sign to the motel was covered in cobwebs. The outdoor seating area was in the parking lot or on the street. We were only there for one night and didn't spend much time at the motel so overall...

”We liked everything about this classic, updated motel. Service was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. We had a standard, amply-sized room with a fireplace as a bonus, at an affordable rate. Feels like a mid-century California coastal motel, in a row of similar places down the road. It was a little bit of a walk, not terrible, to the downtown and Cannery Row locations. We walked throughout of our 3-day stay without trouble. We'd stay at the Arbor Inn again to visit lovely Monterey.”

”Our experience at this hotel was terrible. It was impossible to contact them before arriving. When we did arrive after 6 hours in the car they would let us use a restroom and it would be 3 hours until check in. The woman kept adding a day to my stay. And as I requested a downstairs room for the 5th time she put me upstairs. Another woman working said they need a downstairs room. So finally we did get the downstairs room.
