”The property is lovely, and the owner very resposive when light switch disintigrated. It was a shame the dishwasher program didnt work, the fire alarm fell from the ceiling and the tv was too old to take any form of digital equipment, nor did the dvd function work. Otherwise the cottage is lovely in a pretty spot The foul weather made tv more important I guess. It shortened our stay by half. ”It was easy to get out and about from there. Lovely to see deer in the garden. The owner was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, we slept well. The house had all you needed but the sitting room was a bit sparse and not well laid out for watching a small tv screen. The conservatory was relaxing. The Local Hero was a great place to eat and Morrisons was close by for any shopping. We really liked Benmore Gardens and our trip to Bute.”

”You are staying on a boat on land however it was modernised with flushing toilets and hot water and heating. Hosts Lynette and Angus were lovely and could not do enough for us, loved our welcome treats and nice touches throughout the boat. Perfect for a couple with medium size dog. Would give Hope to be back again. Thank you for the amazing stay ”

Easy access to the Ferries to Bute/ Tarbert and Dunoon ..Andrew , our host was very helpful and made our stay memorable.We used a wheelchair and his concrete ramp was ideal for entering and leaving this spacious property.
