”Beautiful old hotel right by the sea and close to everything. The hotel has old charm and glamour, but needs some updating. We stayed in a room that hadn't been refurbished (we were told that all rooms should be done by April 2025). Room basically had no window since it was facing the opposite wall less than one meter away. I would definetely recommend to book a room that faces sea or atleast a streetview unless it is just a place to sleep. We picked a hotel based on availability of parking...

”After check-in around 6 pm, I arrived at the room the cleaning of which was clearly still in the process without the housekeeping in sight. ”This hotel was very convenient if you travel by train. I was unlucky to arrive in the middle of the railway strike, so I had no advantage of the location. The hotel is a quite standard or a bit under a 4 star hotel. I did miss a hand shower and at least a shower cap, when the only shower is coming from above. The service, breakfast and bar was ok. Nothing special but nothing to complain about either. I could stay hear again. The price is less than other of this standard.”

”The hotel was clean and located next to the train station, the area the hotel is situated although close proximity was very quiet, the only complaint was that when we left the hotel early evening for a dinner we had made sure all the lights were turned off but wise returned the kitchen and bathroom lights were on while nothing had been stolen the thought of someone going into our room was disturbing and when mentioned on leaving the next day to the staff member he had no reply ”
