”We visited WA RAK for a week with the family. The place is quite posh but service etc very friendly and down to earth. Restaurants were unfortunately very expensive, especially with kids wh may decide after ordering that they are not hungry. Only "negative" things were: there was supposed to be a pillow menu service. We were never offered that. Also our personal consierge sent 4 SMS's but never replied to any of our messages. Apart from that, a great place and we will definately visit again. ”

”Fantastic location and excellent service and ammenities. Busy weekend with public holiday but didn’t feel too crowded. No queues for meals which was fantastic. Only downside was the lack of flexibility with booking a last minute seat at Waka bar to view the sunset over a cold drink. Tables were all booked out, but not actually used until well after the sun went down. Get in early and book a table if this is on your list to do.”

”We spent a few nights here with my family. The beach in front of the hotel is very nice and safe for the kids - silent and relaxing for the others! The rooms of the hotel were very spacy and comfortable. They really seem to have olla the square meters promised on the descriptions. no restaurant at the hotel, but room service will deliver food to the rooms or to the beach.. Nice playgrounds / other sites in Al Marjan Island, but if you wish to go further the car is recommended”

”Everything was amazing, the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating we were with our 8 month old, and they were kind enough to get us a baby tub and a sterilizer which I really appreciated. However the pool was old and needed major maintenance, the tiles was broken all over. Other than that we loved our stay!”

”On arrival the reception warned me that my room next to the pool would be very noisy, so instead they gave me a room further away. Sound insulation? Apparently no, and the pool bar is open until 2am. The place seems fine at fist glance, but some things start to annoy: wifi didn't work and bathtub doesn't have a plug. And when calling the reception asking about these the phone line "stopped working" without apparent reason, while background and voices in the reception could be heard. Theres no...

”Rooms are clean, but little bit tiny and old compared to the other fancy resorts. Not all rooms have great views but still it's fine. All day dining restaurant outside dining view was great.
