From the tour of the home when we arrived, the incredible homemade sourdough rolls that I could’ve never made myself, the thoughtfulness of a welcome letter and local coffee shop gift card - there are not enough words to describe how wonderful our stay was. This was our first VRBO experience, though we’ve booked a lot of other rental properties around Alaska, and never have we encountered such kind homeowners. ”Clean and quiet. Didn't hear a sound all night. Central location for shopping and restaurants. We would have liked local TV channels but they are not available. We would stay here again.”

”The property was close to many amenities(good restaurants, coffee shop) a short walk away but the property itself was in a fairly run down part of town. I think a new coat of paint and some deep cleaning on the heating unit would really freshen the place up. There was a nice supply of kitchen essentials and the best quality paper towel and toilet paper. It was a very good price for what it was but we didn't love it.”

”We had a nice stay overnight. The cabin is nicely updated and had warm heaters in both bedrooms keeping it as cozy as you wanted it. The short walk to the inlet bay to see the sunrise was amazing! Highly recommend getting up early to view it. Thanks for the complimentary coffee/hot cocoa and tea in the cupboard!”

”Great place to stay and close to the airport.”

”The property was easy to locate and tucked back into a grove of trees. No microwave, but a refrigerator to store cold foods. there was plenty of space to meet our simple needs for a few days. We appreciated having a tv in the cottage to watch as a way to wind down after our excursions in Seward.”

”It was close to Talkeetna and everything we needed. I felt like I was in a 4 star hotel and the bed was more comfortable than mine at home. Jana was very gracious and left water, beer and snacks in the fridge. The only thing we missed was a bigger coffee pot. Would recommend this cabin if you are staying in Talkeetna.”

”Julie and Brian's love and pride for their property does not come short! They have been one of the greatests hosts we have come across! The property is very secluded with views that are just absolutely stunning. The sunrises and sunsets just hit different from this property on a hill. Julie and Brian were nothing but accomodating and very helpful. The cottage is immaculate and the property is beautifully maintained. They put in some hard work in maintaining it and it shows! We cannot thank them...
