”Super cute spot right in the heart of Girdwood, within walking distance to many places. They have a couple of dog-friendly rooms which I think is great (we didn't bring our pup but it's nice to know we can in the future). The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. My only qualm was the bathroom was a sliding barn door style that doesn't lock, so true bathroom privacy can only be had if someone leaves the room, lol! But if you're comfortable with that or traveling solo, this is perfect. Also...

”It was great for the price and for a place to sleep. It was a little hard to find and there were some homeless people around. but all in all, a good place to stay. I would for sure return.”

”Perfect location for everything in Seward! Easily walk to downtown and sealife center. Perfect size for 2 adults. Only con the numbers on the heat knob are warn off and it was boiling when we got there and our whole first night. Had to have the window open with fan. ”The hosts were kind and accessible, and took care of whatever we needed. There were plenty of cooking supplies, including spices which was nice not to have to buy those. There was a welcome basket which was much appreciated, especially the hot chocolate! The home was in a nice location to parks, downtown, and not far from the airport. Oh, we loved the detachable shower head, and the nice bath mat. Overall a nice place to stay!”

”This was my second stay at the cabin and it once again did not disappoint. Host Michele is great at communicating and made us feel so welcome. Place is clean, safe, and warm. Had everything we needed. ”

”Gorgeous view, incredible breakfast and very accommodating. Allowed us to store our bikes in their garage due to rain. It’s a popular spot cause of how awesome it is so it was fully booked when we stayed. Everyone was nice and courteous however the walls and doors aren’t well insulted so you could hear murmuring through the rooms and all the plumbing. ”We didn't use the room much due to the fact we were in town visiting family. I was very disappointed we didn't take advantage of the kayaks etc. It really was a lovely place to rest and play if that is what you come for. The kitchen was adequately stocked. The owner happened to be there when we checked in and made a point to introduce himself and to let us know if we need anything to make sure and reach out .”

”This guest house was a fun place to fish for Sockeye Salmon! The pier was perfect to catch and clean the salmon. The host met us as we pulled into the property and showed us around. The guest house was clean and very nice! The host also provided us waders and helped process our catch!”

”This was a lovely place to stay, serene and quiet, except for the occasional float plane landing or taking off. My husband enjoyed working from here while keeping an eye on the resident loons and float planes. Alice was very easy to work with, and very responsive to my communications.”

”The apartment was perfect for our stay. It had everything we could have wanted. Every possible kitchen tool was available, tons of towels, etc. to make our stay very comfortable. It was quiet and parking was convenient. The yard area was pretty with ultra green grass and lovely flowers. The location was convenient to everything. Michele was super responsive when I had questions, which was much appreciated. The washing machine had the quickest speed wash cycle I have seen at 15 minutes, mine...

”Julia was a wonderful host. The 0North (annex with two suites) was furnished with stylish modern / Scandanavian decor. Comfy bed. Great downtown location! Free off street parking. Small kitchen was well stocked with a delicious selection of light snacks and beverages. The only down side would be the narrow steep flight of stairs that would make the 0North suites non-accessible for anyone with mobility challenges. Would definitely stay here if we are ever in Anchorage again.”
