”Nice hotel. Quite grand in an understated way. Very good breakfast - Arbroath smokies be poached eggs, which I thought was pretty classy. Apparently winston churchill stayed here loads. Would be good if the hotel had a little info in the plaque explaining why he spent so much time in Dundee. The fella seemed to get about, but the interesting to know what he was up to regardless ”

”Odotukset tämän hintaisella hotellille oli korkeat. Vuoteessa ei ollut sijauspatjaa joten yö oli aika huono. Ravintolan ruoka oli hivenen mautonta, kannattaa syödä muualla. Palvelu oli ystävällistä ja piha näyttävä puutarha. En pysty nyt kyllä suosittelemaan.”

”The hotel is in need of refurbishment to say the least the bar area was disgusting seats broken only bottles as pumps not working and dirty glasses infact the hotel should be condemned. The only saving grace was the staff and the breakfast the staff were polite,friendly and helpful especially Annie who made breakfast service a pleasure. Disappointing that hotels.com have this on there web site as im sure if they sent an inspector they would not recommend this hotel I for one will not be...
