”The staff are nice and welcoming and the location is not really far from the city center I was lucky with the room as they give me nice spacious room but it was cold at nights as the heating was not working and I see similar many reviews about the heating problem too been cold..”

”The location was good, about 15 min to the city centre. Also free parking was a great plus. Unfortunately the room was very small for two and a bit outdated. We booked our room with private bathroom, but realised it was on the corridor and must be locked every time with the house key. There’s no AC and it can get really hot during the night. Opening the window helps but there’s quite busy traffic road and thus noicy. Nice restaurants nearby!”

”Our biggest disappointment resulted from what we consider to be false advertising. On ebookers the pictures under Argyll guest house are from nice and modern looking rooms, but our room was nothing like them at all. There's the Argyll hotel on the opposite side of the road from the guest house, so our conclusion is that the pictures are actually from the hotel, not the guest house. The room itself is adequate for someone who doesn't care about the interior but wants only to crash for a couple of...

”Erinomainen sijainti ja erittäin hyvä palvelu: kaikki onnistui mitä oli suunniteltu ja vähän kivaa ekstraakin. Aamiainen vastapäisessä kahvilassa toimi mutta välillä tällaiselle hämäläisellekin vähän hidasta.”

”Mycket trevligt och väldigt litet hotell med endast ~9 rum ovanför välbesökt pub- och restaurang. Trevlig personal, mysigt ombonat rum, dock lite lyhört. En liten bits gångavstånd från stadskärnan, men ingen större utmaning med friska ben. Över lag trevligt och prisvärt. ”

”Loved our stay here! Only issue was the shower was EXTREMELY hot please fix this. The WiFi is also slow. Despite these issues I willl still rate a 5 out of 5! ”

”Die Unterkunft ist super günstig im Vergleich zu den restlichen Hotels in Edinburgh und absolut ordentlich, ruhig und hat nettes Personal. Das Haus ist hellhörig, aber alle halten sich an die Nachtruhe. Das Bad, das außerhalb des Zimmers liegt, ist sauber, gut erreichbar, ohne jemandem zu begegnen. Man fühlt sich zu jeder Zeit sicher dort. Die Umgebung ist urban, ein Randgebiet und hat keine Sehenswürdigkeit, aber die Stadt ist innerhalb von 20 Minuten mit dem Bus erreichbar.”
