”We have stayed at these premises a number of times previously and have to say nothing has changed, still a lovely well set out cottage right in the centre of Wooler.Very clean and tidy, with everything you need for a short break or a longer stay. The host is very helpful and communicates well.If you book the cottage be sure to book the Italian in Wooler, it’s called Milan and it is very good, the best bit is it’s less than a 2 minute walk from the cottage!”

”The property itself was incredibly quiet and on one side of a cobbled stable area. Every morning and evening, the owner's three elderly horses were led to and from the nearby field and we could often see the horse looking over his stable door from our bedroom window - the pony and Shetland pony weren't tall enough to look over! We saw several deer and hares near the cottage on the grounds. The cottage is in the grounds of Spital House; it was initially hard to find from the directions and maps...

”Quiet and peaceful. Property exactly as advertised with lovely small garden area and small field amongst trees out the back, with deer spotted one morning. ”Cottage was cosy and well appointed. Very well placed for visiting historic sites of Northumberland and the coast. We enjoyed beautiful sunny but very cold days. Would certainly recommend this cottage and its location.”

”The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable. It would be nice to have a few basic essentials such as salt and pepper and hand soap upon arrival to get things...

”We wanted to travel to Northumberland as had never been and it didn’t disappoint. Absolutely beautiful in every way, stunning beaches, villages and fabulous accommodation.The apartment was just perfect for us and our 2 dogs.The garden was large and dog friendly and the accommodation so beautifully presented and we just loved everything it offered We ate locally and really liked the Masons Arms which was very dog friendly and lovely homemade food.Looking forward to visiting again soon ”

”The location of the house is perfect for visiting various beaches & historic towns, nothing was too far. The house is very well equipped and felt very cosy but with plenty of space, especially with our 2 golden retriever dogs. They also loved the garden, with lots of room to run around. We can definitely see ourselves returning here sometime in the future.”
