”Classic 1960's motel with views! An original gem, very well kept. I hope they never change it. It's a North Queensland icon. It's out of town but very handy if you're staying enroute to somewhere else.”

”This was a great place to stay in Airlie beach. Staff were friendly and it’s in a convenient location. The only downside to our room was that it’s located right beside the delivery area for the liquor store, and so there was beeping from machines starting at 7am going all morning. Also, a huge flood light outside our room that the window blinds didn’t even block out. If you’re sensitive to noise and want a good sleep, this property is not for you. Otherwise it’s great!”

”We really enjoyed our stay at Daydream Island. The staff are fantastic and the food was very good. Our room was comfortable and clean. The island is a really beautiful spot with crystal clear blue waters, fantastic pool areas, and the living reef really gives you the full experience of being at The Great Barrier Reef. There are plenty of activities on the island as well as trivia nights, bingo, and outdoor cinema. There are many tour options leaving Daydream Island daily for those who want to...
