”This home is built to drink in the view. The water comes up right to the edge of the property. You can walk the beach when the tide is out. The queen bed was very comfortable and that is always highly valued. We were disappointed that the couch was not very comfy, bottom cushions keep slipping forward on you. It would be nice to have an ottoman so you could sit back, put your feet up and enjoy the view. It’s important to note the stove/oven combo is not full size, which is fine if you are not...

”We were pleasantly surprised with this place! Soft sheets, firm mattress, good water pressure, fenced side yard, charming fireplace, strong wifi and million dollar views. The beach looks amazing but we opted to go to Double Bluff beach dog park instead. It’s a great location for accessing South Whidbey. Thanks for sharing your home, we’d definitely stay here again. ”

”Enjoyed this cabin for a quiet little getaway with my husband. Although you aren't completely secluded from neighbors it still felt very private, and all the details were well-explained and exactly as advertised. One thing to keep in mind about the location is that it is pretty far from a real grocery store. This isn't a problem at all, just requires more planning ahead.”

”We came for a long weekend, and we had a great time! We did think the beach was easy to walk down to like the pictures imply but between the snow and ice and steep edge it was not, also the lighting in the house makes cooking a bit tough, we had to move a lamp on top of the fridge, if there were new day light bulbs in the kitchen that would have helped, all the bulbs were miss-matched and dim…All in all a great stay! Loved the town and cabins views! ”

”This property is impressive! Inside, there are all the amenities you may need. The lighting, beds, furniture and kitchen are all comfortable and homey. Large windows provide a clear view for bird watching over the water. Outside, you are right on the lagoon beach with driftwood, rocks, shells, etc. Being landlubbers, signs for access to the outer beach were confusing and we didn’t get clarification until after dark on our last night. The large yard was just what I was hoping for our old dog....

”Had a Great Family Getaway to celebrate Valentines & my wife's Birthday with all of our kids, and our grandson. This property gives you an absolute front row view of Useless Bay on Double Bluff that does not disappoint! THINGS TO KNOW IN ADVANCE!!!We loved our stay, but this property, but it may not be the best choice for those with mobility issues! This home is literally perched on Double Bluff which gives you incredible views, but this requires that you climb up 54 stairs from the beach...
