”Plum Tree Cottage will exceed any reasonable expectations.It is not large, but it is very well laid out, and was comfortable for the two of us and a small dog, with plenty of space and storage for our 7 day stay. This is more than an an average batch in the bush. The quality of the building, fit-out, facilities, maintenance, and attention to smallest details was impeccable, and the ever changing view across the manuka and wetlands to the Mangawhai estuary and hills beyond made the stay...

”Very accomodating host! Let us to check in late at night and took the time to show us all the amenities. Room was kitted out with everything we needed and the location is a beautiful and very peaceful lifestyle property. We were also given a wonderful tour of their chicken run and pigeon coop in the morning. Highly recommended!”

”We celebrated our 25th anniversary at this delightful property! Communication was fabulous with Shirley. This home was absolutely perfect with all the amenities needed and n the kitchen to prepare our picnic lunches for our trips north. This location provided us with many options for snorkeling at Goats Island, hiking at Whangerie Falls, beach walking at all of the beautiful coastline. We definitely rate this above a five and would return again and again.”

”Amazing location! The beach is almost at your doorstep. This made it very easy to hop on our paddle boards many times a day. Shallow waters and the lovely sand bars were perfect for toddlers and kids. The spa was a slight let down. Likely not much use, not easy to access and not clean. Thankfully the ocean was amazing and we had great weather!”
