”Outstanding stay. I used to stay here when it first opened decades ago all the time but this is my first trip back in a long time and its still outstanding. Well appointed, homely style furniture and while its not modern it has a great quality and vibe about it. Highly reccomend.”

”A spectacular place. Walking in it was “Wow, just wow “. The views to Matapouri Bay and Poor Knights were mesmerizing, the bird life (think intoxicated Kereru) entertaining and the accomodations 5 star hotel level. The Aroha suite was huge and had floor to ceiling glass doors that opened to the amazing outdoors. Julianne was a delightful and gracious host. We could not have asked for a better stay and wished we could have atayed longer”

”The house and setting are fabulous. Well-equipped home with everything you could need- lovely linen on the beds for a great sleep, warm outdoor shower, rooftop spa, lots of deck areas with plenty of sun and shade zones, beautiful gardens and lots of bird life. The secluded beach is a short stroll down the garden path. Great communication from the host. We had a truly relaxing week away here. Would love to stay again!”
