”We were all happy for the most part with our stay, the only issues were the cleanliness of the property, there were allot of beer can that had been thrown off the side of the balcony and had not been cleaned up by a previous guest, there was allot of hair in the downstairs bathroom trash can that had not gotten taken out. ”We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The view of the river greeted us as we walked through the doors and we watched the river flow throughout our rainy stay. There were plenty of bedrooms and sleeping options including the finished basement which felt comfy and cozy for the young adults in our group. ”Place was very nice but there were a couple of things that could have been better. First, the lighting is not as bright as shown. All the lights are yellow & not very bright at all. The ceiling fan light in one of the rooms didn’t even work. There were some crumbs left in the couch and there was a nasty stain on one of the bed blankets. One of the bedrooms also didn’t lock. ”My husband and I rented this pair of houses for a 35th anniversary celebration. The hosts were communicative, and the property itself was comfortable, spacious, and well designed. Most Portland sites that we wanted to visit were just a short drive away, and those who chose to explore on foot around the property found plenty to interest them, including a quirky taxidermy shop. We would definitely choose this rental again for a similar function.”
