”We stayed for 4 nights. The staff were extremely hospitable and kind!! We noticed that immediately and appreciated it. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. We liked that it is a reasonable walk to the Metro rail (about a mile?) and a short drive to the Reston Town Center area of restaurants etc. Thank you for the wonderful place to call 'home' for four days!”

”The description to this place was misleading. We thought we would have the entire house as it stated however it was a walkout basement with 2 bedrooms. The entrance was in the back of the house with a very dark walkway at night. Beds were not comfortable and seamed smaller than a Queen size bed. ”Little Oatlands was the perfect place for our outdoor wedding and we’re very happy we chose it. If you are planning to do the same, and have family stay in the guest house for the weekend, read the contract *carefully*. ”We used this property for 10 days and found it perfect for our needs. We are a family of 5 with 3 small kids and they loved the place and the playground near by. We were notified the dishwasher wasn’t working when we arrived and Aksh was able to get a new one installed in two days. He had great communication and was very nice. One complaint I had is that some of the couches and cloth covered chairs had some stains. Overall would recommend.”

”The inside of the cottage was very clean. The bathroom towels are like blankets! SO nice! The kitchen is decent (with a little coffee/tea bar and fresh eggs in the refrigerator!!), the living room is spacious and the beds are very comfortable. My only issue with the interior was there was no place to put the luggage in the bedrooms. I had to put my suitcase on the floor and kept having to bend down to get things out of it. It would be nice to have a luggage rack or a small dresser in each room....

”Very clean and updated house in a very convenient location. Nice neighborhood but close to highways and conveniences. Would be nice to have dressers or luggage stands in bedrooms. Beds seem to be listed in “European sizing”, meaning their “King” bed was what is called a Queen in US and their Queens are really full or doubles. But, beds were comfortable and area is quiet. Downstairs “suite” with bedrooms, bath and living room was great for our daughter, son-in-law and their 2 year old. Nice...

”We enjoyed our stay. I wasn't aware the owners were going to be sleeping in the basement. That should be listed in the description of the property. I would recommend there be more kitchen supplies and cleaning stuffs, sponge, cloth, dishtowels. Also, roof rats, all night long scratching and running. ”Stayed here for 3 nights with my partner and his 81 year old mother while we attended graduation events at GMU. This apartment is perfect, and the hosts have thoughtfully provided just about anything a family could need for a comfortable stay--books, games, lots of extra blankets and pillows, even a guitar!
