”This was the perfect setting for our family Christmas. Going above and beyond, our hosts set up a Christmas tree and even had a sweet gift under the tree when we arrived. ”Beautiful property and a working cattle ranch. Took the family and 2 grandkids. Fishing was a bit difficult, but lots of other fishing spots close by. We liked feeding the horses carrots. Cows were great to see all around. Ranch manager Tim was really helpful with tips. Nice ranch to hike all over. ”

This place was perfect for what we desired: quiet, animals around, hot tub and ease for grilling on a provided camping propane grill in the back area. ”Stayed here with another family for a total of 9 people. Children were between the ages of 3 and 11. There was plenty to do and keep them occupied. The rental was extremely well furnished and comfortable. We had a wonderful time. Easy access to snow and one family took a short trip to the awesome Shasta Caverns! ”We loved our short stay at this rental. The lack of wifi and limited service meant that we put down our phones and spent some real quality time together. We read books and mountain-gazed from the back porch. The house is definitely quirky, but not in a way that is unexpected for the area and we appreciated all of it’s unique details. We were in town for a wedding and this home was the perfect respite from the social overstimulation of a large celebration.”
