”This weekend was a perfect get away. The house was cute and quaint. We felt comfortable and at home while staying here. We have two little boys and they absolutely loved the yard, beach and dock. They spent all day playing in the water and sand letting their imaginations run wild. The lake was perfect for cruises, fishing was hit and miss this weekend but still caught a Northern, large mouth bass and little blue gills. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice get away weekend...

”We were planning on cross country skiing but Mother Nature had other ideas. Lots of hiking near by, 6 min from town, was just the right size for the 4 of us! We enjoyed our stay and would rent again. To the owners may want to add more dish towels or a drainer for under drying rack and a new toaster as you have to unplug it to get the toast to come up.”

”This cabin was gorgeous! The views of the small lake were amazing, the fire pit area was great and everything worked. The cabin is beautifully decorated and had everything you would need for a great stay. The only negatives to this place were that it did not have Wi-Fi and the tv in the basement is pretty small for the space. Those did not impact us much as we enjoyed the beautiful outdoors and took in all that nature had to offer.”

”We felt right at home here. The house is nicely decorated and furnished with everything we needed. It’s located in a quiet safe neighborhood. The location was a perfect half way point for visiting the Apostle Islands boat tour and the Keweenaw Peninsula (both about a 2 hour drive). Plus Lake of the Clouds is only 20 minutes away. It was kind of hard getting the keys out of the foam liner in the key holder. Maybe bring some tweezers. All in all we enjoyed our stay here. The owner was quick to...

”The house was fantastic. We had a great experience and really enjoyed the trip! Only thing that could have been a bit better was the bedroom on the lake side and the bunk room (especially the bunk room) were pretty cold. Regardless of that though we had a great time!”

Cons: the bugs were so terrible we weren’t able to enjoy being outdoors We randomly had the lawn care guys come on Saturday afternoon which with a house full of women in the middle of no where was a little off putting. Need more pillows! Chair in the living room while they look nice...
