”Our room had a rooftop patio which was great for winding down after a day at the beach. Very good local taverna options. Local beach is organized and sandy (no water shoes needed) with warm waters. Some good snorkeling for the kids. Great pool too.”

”The property is as described and the photos were accurate. The massive downside which made us not recommending the property was the misleading “breakfast vouchers”. You receive every day a voucher that can be used in the tavern next door which offers a breakfast buffet. What was not explained and we got surprised during checkout is that breakfast is 15€ per person per day. So 30€ for a boiled egg, cheese, Greek yogurt and OJ from concentrate. ”Great hotel with a family feel. We were fortunate enough to have a suite which was plenty of room and an absolutely fantastic wrap around balcony. Breakfast was included and offered eggs, fruit and breads. ”

”5 stars! The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us!
