”Beautiful friendly hotel. We felt safe secure and very well looked after. Staff were so friendly and always on hand to support your need. We checked into a room in the 3rd floor (sea view) and it had a strong smell of damp and mould. We were moved fairly quickly to a new room which also had a faint smell of damp etc. The smell got worse as the week went on and not sure of it was the air con. ”We loved everything about it- even though there was a couple of things that were disappointing.. don't know if it was because of the renovating and transforming to Capella from Discovery Marigot,but the staff was sometimes a bit asleep so to say. ”I know what "island time" is, but they take this to another level...s...l...o...w and r..e..l..a..x..e..d. We had hand towels and wash cloths on the first day, but after that housekeeping never gave us another...until the last day we did get a hand towel. The water pressure in our second floor unit was WIMPY...can't imagine what it was like on the third floor. The location is beautiful...great beach...but there is new construction on the northside and they were building shelter for the outdoor...
