”We were able to have a peaceful retreat each evening and a central location to see all of the amazing landscapes in the area, Sedona, Flagstaff and even the Grand Canyon. ”Great cabin with everything you need. Nice quality bath products and the bed very comfortable. Communication was fabulous. Unfortunately we witnessed a mouse in the kitchen. We think it entered through an area (a hole) of the front door framing that was exposed to the outside. The host immediately responded and made arrangements to have door inspected and repaired as needed, but we didn’t know if this addressed the problem or not, and just decided to leave a day early and not deal with it....

”Our adventure toward Sedona from Tempe is what brought us to Dewey House, and what a treat! We rented a JEEP which was fun on the gravel roads leading up the slopes to this cozy slice of heaven! Stars bright as ever, morning bird watching (and listening) with coffee on the cozy porch in a blanket watching flecks of snow fall and melt. ”This was the perfect getaway for our anniversary. The simple and rustic Miner's Cabin had all the necessary amenities in a rustic cabin. The historical documents and mining gear were also really neat to peruse. ”This is a great location. The trail leading down to the creek was a real treat. The house is comfortable and easy to access. We had a temporary issue with the hot water but was able to resolve it ourselves. Our puppies really enjoyed being able to have so many places to sniff and explore. ”Appliances are in great shape. Master bed was comfortable. It was nice that shampoo, conditioner and body wash were stocked in bathrooms. ”Nice little cabin tucked away off the main road. Neighbors are a bit close though. Host is super responsive. Very clean overall, cute layout. Oven didn’t work but I’m sure it’ll be fixed soon! We didn’t love the biolet/toilet situation but it worked well & there was no odor. Pillows were great, but the one bed wasn’t comfortable as it had a dip in the mattress. Sofa was very comfy! We got to enjoy some downtime as a family and that was wonderful! Close to Prescott square to enjoy the Christmas...

”We loved staying at this property. We had a couple of hiccups to start the vacation, but our property manager (Steph) was very responsive and understanding. The location is perfect for hiking on the west side of town. There is plenty of parking, and the hot tub kept its temperature nicely. I would recommend this property for any group of friends/family that is looking for R&R in Sedona. ”
