”We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Secreto in La Fortuna! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was wonderful, and the rooms were beautiful. ”Werner and Carlos are beautiful hosts and we really enjoyed the property and the delicious breakfast! We really appreciated that they immediately took the time to make a reservation to the Hanging Bridges and recommend a great restaurant. Thank you both!”

”If you are looking for a peaceful cabin with an incredible view to the volcano, I really recommend this place. Also it’s next to an amazing restaurant where you have the breakfast included. The staff were extremely friendly and the atmosphere of my room was exceptional. I really recommend this hotel for future guests. It’s also in the middle of the main street in La Fortuna so everything else minutes away.”

”Had a lovely weekend stay here. The view over Lake Arenal is unbelievable! Ana was a delight every morning and made wonderful breakfasts. Her sweet cats roaming around on the property was a huge plus for me. Great place to stay if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and undisturbed but still only 20 minutes from restaurants/conveniences. There are toucans in the trees next to the bungalow every morning.”

”It is a very beautiful and peaceful property away from all of the touristy stuff”

”This was my favorite hostel out of all the hostels I stayed in in Costa Rica. The blending of beautiful scenery with a bar overlooking the river and the hamburgers were amazing and so are the night walks!!”
