"Although placed in a perfect spot with a great terrace and pool, the room we got didn't fit to the pictures and descriptions at all, too small, no sofa in it, when asking for another, no parking, we didn't get friendly service at all. Not forthcoming and contradicting their own explanations. Well, this singular stay of ours was not too great because of that. It might be different with other rooms. Some of the restaurant staff were friendly."

"The location and view are the best! San Quirixo d'Orcia is a lovely, quiet and safe small village surrounded by the iconic Tuscany fields. Casanova hotel is one of the rare places with pool. We liked - free big parking place - lovely cats in the yard - breakfast - big rooms What we didn't like was two loudly barking dogs in the neighborhood (affected our sleep), very poor wifi (practically, there is no wifi at the pool or not even in the room upstairs) and there could have been more variety in the breakfast. Also, the breakfast only open until 10am which for me is quite early, should be at least until 10:30 or 11. As a summary: if you want a hotel with big room, big pool with a view, and you don't need to work (with wifi) and the price is not a problem, this is a good option. "
