”Although this location is remote, it is still worth the price. It was very clean and quiet. They offered a basic continental breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a gas station next door with a hot food counter and a good selection of convenience store snacks and drinks. Overall we were very happy.”

”While our comfort and experience with Townhouse 213 was closer to a 3 (and a one if you include all the perilous stairs), we have massive respect and esteem for Vickie, who was the point person. She is outstanding at her job. She was receptive to the ideas (long text lists from daughter) that we made for improving the 213 so it can shine like we know it can. We can tell the effort put in to rehabing the house. What we will say so that others can be aware of what we weren't 1)there are stairs...

”Well my daughter and I went on a little West Virginia mountain adventure to do some mountain photography and enjoy the color change and boy did we have an excellent stay!!! The property was just perfect for us, the color changes on the leaves were gorgeous the fire pit was great we did lots of cooking in the very well appointed kitchen and enjoyed being away from it all! ”Beautiful Victorian home that was decorated perfectly for the era! The family was super friendly and helpful! The children were there when we first arrived and were adorable, pleasant and so well behaved! Delicious, warm chocolate chip cookies were available when we checked in. Breakfast was really good. They served warm homemade muffins, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee and more! My husband and I were very pleased and will definitely stay again if we are in the area. ”

”This is a quaint cabin on a peaceful country road with a bubbling creek running behind it. Perfectly clean, well equipped. The host, Amy was super nice and accommodating (she saved our biscuits when we misplaced our key and need an assist). If you are into history, The cabin is made of hand hewn timbers from the mid-1800’s and was moved and rebuilt onsite. Oh, the stories that place could tell…!! ”

”Really liked the property. There were only 2 of us but it would have been more fun with a group. Great outdoor sitting space. It was cold and lots of extra blankets around. If you forgot something it was there for you. The only negative and it is a personal preference is there are other homes around. No one bothered us, we didn’t even see anyone. I felt perfectly safe, just a preference. The hosts were great. Called me to give me some tips to get there. Very appreciated.”

”This is a beautiful, contemporary cabin set at the end of a one lane gravel road at the top of a mountain. The views are wonderful. The cabin is very comfortable and the bed sleeps great! You have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It is very quiet and dark at night. I was able to photograph the Milky Way from the balcony of the cabin! If you want a quiet get away close to New River Gorge National Park, this is a great place to escape to.”

”Perfect time away with family! A great unique little spot that had all the comforts of home. I couldn’t believe how well the space was sectioned off - and even a large fridge and a 5 burner stove!
