”A great place to stay for a trip to the Mazinaw. Owner was very quick to respond to all questions. A bit on the rustic side but well appointed for a camping spot. I stayed in one of the cabins and have no complaints! The water pressure was very good. Close to the road so you get the traffic noises but waking to the call of Loons on the lake was wonderful. No TV but then who wants to spend time indoors when you have the lake 100 feet away!”

”My wife and I (and 17 year old son) spent three wonderful days at this 'Rustic' cabin. The cabin was clean, quaint and exactly what one would expect from a 'rustic' cabin experience. The hosts Jason & Suzie were magnificent and went out of their way to ensure our trip was memorable. A very nice balance between relaxing on the property and adventures on the beautiful Westlemkoon Lake. We had a great time and look forward to returning.”

”This is a real cottage! Charming and rustic, private, peaceful, and on an amazing lake. The kitchen was fully stocked, and large. The living room comfortably appointed and clean, and the beds comfortable! ”I really loved how intimate this experience was. We had only one other group here and interacted only just enough to say "hello" in passing. There are HUGE berry bushes, lots of (tiny, harmless) wildlife, beautiful wild flowers, and trails to follow. On the downside, I was a little sad to discover that this space doesn't have a dock nor anywhere to rent watercraft. The advertisement somewhat led me to believe otherwise. There are, however, excellent rates nearby in Bancroft proper.”

There were so many fishing spots close by, hunting was an option but we didn’t end up going, the hiking with my dog was so beautiful and even just walking around the property was so calming and pretty.
