”Mostly great, breakfast service was a bit haphazard, clearly nobody in charge. Not everything available at 8.00. Had to ask for butter. Menu says breakfast is from 7.30. Long wait to take breakfast orders. Light outside front door on during the day, off at night when you need it. Lights at front gate have glass hanging out. Needs attention to detail, I.e. management.”

”The views were stunning, we did have exceptional weather which really helps. We were able to be changed to a dog friendly room on the advice of the staff(we had intended that the dog slept in the comfortable dog box in the car). Bar was a nice area to lounge in the evening after sunset. We visited the Minack Theatre and walked to Sennen. A lovely three day stay that we would recommend others also enjoy.”

”I had a lovely stay at the Kings Arms Penzance. The pub serves delicious traditional pub fare, and the full Cornish breakfast in the morning is excellent. My room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and I had everything I could need. The staff were extremely kind when I wound up breaking a bone in my foot while on a walk in the nearby fields. ”This was our first experience staying in a self catering accommodation and it won’t be the last. We had everything needed to live comfortably. The view was amazing too. Jan came in to welcome us so gracefully on our first night and made us feel really welcome. The house was beautifully decorated and cozy, made us feel like we were home. ”We were able to check in early which was a nice touch, as were the complementary drinks and snacks. We ate outside in the afternoon and the burger was delicious. ”Comfortable room, though not large, with en-suite and a really comfortable bed. We were welcomed on arrival and helped upstairs with our luggage. We had key to come and go as we pleased and visited different places each day. Only one wet day, otherwise warm and sunny - good for October. Mostly came back to eat dinner at the Inn - food was delicious. Excellent breakfasts too. Staff did everything possible to make it a good holiday for us. Many thanks! ”

He had two other people in there so we had to wait about 15 minutes. Then we went in and it was all of 30 seconds, here's your key, go up the stairs, see you later! No information given. One day we asked about the buses and how to take them (we are from Canada) and the girl at the desk said she had no idea, she never took the bus. End of that...

”Grove and Pablo were perfect hosts, they couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect. The stunning Georgian property is 15 minutes from Penzance and 10 minutes from Newlyn which was lovely and has lots of good restaurants. Breakfast was amazing with lots to choose from and all home made by Pablo including the bread, pastries and the delicious savoury muffins. We had a wonderful, relaxing break. ”
