”My husband and I took an impromptu vacation during the off season and wound up in Topsail Island. The suite was spacious and clean. Not sure what it’s like during peak season but I definitely recommend Saltwater Suites. They have bikes you can check out and explore the island. There is a great NY deli on the island that makes a great breakfast sandwich. All in all would recommend. ”

”Loved the location and the access to the beach. The area was beautiful and while the motel is older, they’ve kept it very nice and clean. My daughter, our dogs and I stayed. You are on the very end of the island, which I loved but that does mean a lil drive to get something to eat. My only con is I wish they provided a few extra towels. They provide one bath towel, one hand towel and one wash cloth per person. Had I known that I’d have brought some from home (you can ask for more for a fee)....

”Great views of sunset and sunrise. Unfortunately there was no soap or shampoo in the shower, and no condiments for the coffee, but otherwise a lovely stay. We would definitely return.”

”Location was 20 out of 10, back patio amazing. Room itself was ok, size and amenities, nice but nothing over the top. Wished it had coffee for the coffee pot. The problem was the beds. Worst mattresses I’ve ever paid to sleep on. Both of them were very bad. If your under 15 maybe ok but we woke up both days literally in pain. For the price of the room and cleaning fee I expected a tiny bit more. Again location was outstanding , access to the beach amazing but carpet and mattresses really need...
