I will start by saying that there were plenty of paper towels and toilet paper, but that is where the positives end. This is the worst stay I have ever experienced. The first thing we noticed was that the floors were so dirty that our feet were black within five minutes of arriving, so we spent the entire weekend with shoes on. We also kept finding spiders, bugs, and lizards in the house. The whole property feels like a house someone flipped for the littlest amount of money possible: drawers and cabinets that don’t work or fall out when opened, broken seats with staples sticking out, doors that are missing or not connected to the frame, hand soap that has been both watered down and not filled up enough so we ran out and had to buy more, exactly one of the thinnest towels ever made per person for bathing, and no rugs or bath mats anywhere so that, when you step in the shower, your disgusting feet make mud. To top it all off, we couldn’t get the house to warm up on the first night, and we discovered that was because there was a window that had been broken and replaced by a piece of plastic that wasn’t even fastened in. It could be pushed in or out easily and had a several-inch air gap, which is why we were removing bugs and lizards all weekend. We went outside to inspect, and the glass from the broken window was still on the ground outside. We contacted the owner, because we realized that we weren’t even secure in the home due to the cheap fix, and we also told him about the cleanliness. He did not offer a solution or even express concern or apologize, but said that he would let his maintenance people know. We asked for a partial refund, since we paid over $300/night after taxes and fees for this stay, and he has ghosted us. Do not fall for the positive reviews before mine like we did. We really regret staying at this property, and would never want someone else to blindsided and taken advantage of like we were.
