”Everything about our stay was incredible! We told them we were there celebrating a birthday and they set up decorations in our room before we arrived. The restaurant and bar were just as great as the staff.”

”Nice location, however a bit underwhelming as the parking area looked a bit abandoned and unmaintained. Not a terrible view of the city but also not the greatest as the waterfront smelled like sewage. As far as the room we had issues with our room access cards as they would not give me access to the room or other amenities. This caused me to continuously make trips to the front desk to keep reactivating the cards, which they didn’t always get right on the first try. Otherwise the room was clean...

”There’s no place to park, unless you park a block away and then you would have to pay for parking. Not in a safe area to park. The area itself didn’t look safe.”

”The staff is amazing ❤️ Will come back. Kitchen could use some maintenance but it suits for most needs. Shower was very basic NY but it works and was def warm after a while. ”

”The staff was very nice and they let us check in earlier at no cost. However, the hotel is very old and several things didn’t work like the exhaust fan in the restroom. They had only one small table in the room and that wasn’t enough space to put our stuff on, specifically in the bathroom!”

”We had big family room for 10 nights which was great. Very comfy bed, lots of channels in tv, kitchen (with microwave, sink, fridge, coffeemaker and toaster). Quier hotel, only 3-4 rooma per floor and bathroom and shower were always free to use. Short walk to two subways and 10 minutes from Times Square. Very nice people working here. Weekends there came noices from the street but I slept with ear plugs good. Our child didnt wake up ever during the nights to noices. In our room during nights...

”I only stayed here for one night. Once I got into the room, I tried to put the deadbolt on the deadbolt does not have anything to connect to so it’s pointless. I went downstairs. He told me all the doors are like that. Then the mattress, oh my goodness, I had two flat sheets on my bed no fitted sheet. The mattress was horrible. Had cigarette burns and I think I saw a bedbug. I took a picture of it. I took a picture of the mattress. I took a video of it. I cannot sleep in that bed. The hot water...

”The Internet access did not work - I think because Room 313 is located at the far end of the corridor”

”Cleaning staff admitted to taking my beer from the refrigerator. Gave a run around about being paid later...never got my beer and the staff was no where to be seen. Don't leave your belongings or staff will help themselves and act nice about it.”

”Clean room”

”The room was clean and spacious enough to move a stroller around. The staff at the Bar and the conceirge we extremely kind, and helpful and provided top tier reccomendations for local entertainment and food options. The pool was unfortunately still closed. Property was clean overall and easily found from the bus and subway stations, within walkable distance to the Apollo and lcoal shops.”

”The actual hotel was fine, the area that its in is not safe. Just outside of the entrance there were homeless people laying on the ground and strung out on drugs. I didnt feel safe at all having my family in this particular area of the Bronx. Would never stay here again for that reason.”

”Everything was great. The room is a decent size and clean. Service was great. The lobby bar was also very nice. I would not hesitate to stay there again.”

”The room was clean and perfect for our trip. Having it so close to the subway entrance was super helpful we didn’t take a single Uber the whole trip. There were cute coffee shops, spas, organic grocery stores, and cafes all within walking distance. The staff were all kind and helpful. They make a point to be a more sustainable hotel and you can actually see proof of that in a bunch of little ways that I appreciated while staying there.”
