”We arrived after reception had closed but our key was placed in a safe and we had been sent a text message an hour before with the safe code. Our room was lovely and fresh and clean and the staff had left the air con on for us. We had drinks at the poolside bar before walking to the Strand and put 10 minutes walk away and having dinner. Breakfast was included the next morning and there was pastries, fruit, cereal and fruit bread and crumpets as well as a coffee machine. The staff were friendly...

Our room had a kitchenette with utencils, microwave, fridge, dishwasher etc. and there was a laundry machine and a dryer. The Oaks M is located behind the Metropolitan hotel, and is not easy to see from the street. It even features a (fairly typical) gym, which has dumbbells up to 20 kg, though.
