”My companion and I really enjoyed the location. It did take a few minutes to find our room, but once in we were able to relax. A few items to mention: the door lock to Ponderosa does not seem to lock securely. And, I did encounter some cockroaches, which we were able to dispatch without much problem - I think these are unavoidable. But overall, we would very much like to stay at this property again!”

”This is a very nice house, spacious in a nice quiet area. Large back yard for everyone to enjoy. It has an office space if you need to work. ”This house was convenient for travel to both Sequoia Natl Park and Kings Canyon. Kitchen was stocked with just the basics but was adequate. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Carpet and couch could use an update. Plenty of space to spread out and it was so nice to have access to the neighborhood pool. Host was very attentive and willing to help if we needed anything.”

”This is a beautiful home in a quiet, well-maintained neighborhood. The pool and floaties were a huge plus on the several 105 + degree days during my stay. The house is close to town for shopping and dining. The only surprise was no coffee-maker, but there was a tea kettle and an abundant supply of instant coffee, creamer, and sugar. Just something to be aware of. I would definitely stay again!”

”We got totally scammed at this VRBO. The house was essentially abandoned. Completely over grown yard, garbage on the porch, garbage throughout the property. The host never responded to questions about check in. Phone number we called went straight to voicemail and we were never able to contact the host. The gate to the property was chained up and had no trespassing signs with images of guns on them. How VRBO allows the property to be listed on their site still is incomprehensible. We are now...

”Loved being so close to Sequoia Park, and truthfully we mostly used it just to rest before and after the park. I did find myself wondering why the quilts were ugly-side-out. The area around where the rooms are was a little worse for wear. But the room was clean enough, and I really, truly loved the sheets that were on the bed.”

The location of the RV is perfect for visiting Sequoia Nat’l Park and Kings Canyon. It was really hot during our visit so the swamp cooler came in handy.
