”The house was perfect for our family of 4. The hot tub was amazing to watch the northern lights even in winter and the sauna was an added bonus. The location is great for seeing lots of great sights on the golden circle. We rented a car and toured the southern coast as well as Reykjavík. Listing is as described. The owner sends a full guide to the home and the area which is so helpful. He even gives his cell number for urgent matters. Highly recommend!”

”House was immaculate, clean and spacious. Owner was super helpful and always quick to respond. Kitchen was stocked w/ all appliances, dishes, silverware, etc. needed for a comfy stay w/ light cooking. Great neighborhood and had 2 nights of Northern Lights gazing from the hot tub! Two notes: Google maps is not accurate, so getting to the correct street was tricky. Upstairs bathroom does not have a shower or tub -- sink and toilet only, but we made that work just fine.”

We wanted to be centrally located for our trip so we could be close enough to all of the places we wanted to visit. ”Great base for rafting, horseback riding, all of the Golden Circle activities. The house itself was absolutely beautiful with a lovely view of the river.
