”Fantastic, generous breakfast. Very kind, helpful man running the place. I enjoyed my camp, gay bedroom at the top of the house. All essentials were 5* clean, just a touch of dust on some decorative objects stopped full 5* rating re cleanliness from me. Lots of Art Deco, vedettes du cinema. Fun. Interesting. Other rooms, other styles. Felt appropriate for 1940's villa. Swimming pool was unexpected luxury. Would stay again. Loved it.”

”Rose-Marie is absolutely wonderful and we had a fabulous stay. Beautiful room and garden. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious with a lovely view of the garden. Nice and quiet and cool in the hot weather. Rose-Marie is a gem of a host and definitely a highlight of the stay. A must stay if you are visiting Vaison-la-Romaine, you will not regret it!”

”Absolutely idyllic location, surrounded by greenery with a view down to the lake. Large room in the old part of the castle was clean and beautifully furnished with a large bathroom. The pool is situated in a peaceful part of the grounds and was very relaxed spot to stay with a book. The owners were very helpful and welcoming - we ordered chilled wine on the terrace and a lovely breakfast the next day. Highly recommend staying here.”

”I personally like the convenience and privacy of an ensuite, which is the only reason Trecastle doesn't get five stars all the way. That aside it's an excellent place to stay with lovely, friendly hosts and secure garage parking for my motorbike. I will return.”
