”Stayed many years ago and high standards have remained. Beautiful gardens. Only downside was the dinner menu which did not change over the three nights we stayed. When we commented on this, we were told that out of high season, guests didn’t stay for more than one or two nights.”

”The staff were really friendly and very helpful. Everyone was so welcoming to us and my dog. The room was spacious and warm. The bar was funny, playing Coronation Street on the big TV on Friday night was an unexpected vibe! The pool, sauna and steam room were lovely and warm, clean and inviting. However the changing rooms could do with an update! And no coffee machine working for morning coffees or espresso martinis was gutting! The grounds were lovely with a little woodland walk to take the pup...

”I stayed here for 2 nights with my family and booked last minute. Location was great and it was a clean and comfortable stay. If you have any mobility issues however, I wouldn't recommend as we stayed at the top which had narrow steep stairs. Other odd quirks were there was not one bowl in the room or kitchen. Also we booked for 3 people and arrived to a room with a fold out and had to find the bedding. We found a fitted sheet available (but didn't fit the fold out couch properly) and a blanket...

”We enjoyed our stay very much. The B&B was about a 3 minute walk from the beach and 6 minutes walk from the train station. About a 15 minute walk to the beginning of the town. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Our room was tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the well stocked coffee and tea facilities in the room and the daily “treats” that we found when we came back to the room after being out for the day. Sachets of body/ hair wash were supplied as well....
