”Very nice Hotel in an interesting historical building. The personnel was very friendly and helpful, but the neighbourhood is a bit scary with a lot of drug addicts and rubbish on the road. Quick metro connection to downtown If you dare ride on it.”

”I loved the decor of the room. I loved the bed, so comfortable. I had a suite with a living room area and i was happy about having some extra space to walk around and set up my decorations for Valentines Day. He loved all of it including the room. We had an overnight stay we enjoyed it.”

”Excellent hotel, great location, shop around the corner. All the people in reception, the bell boys, the housekeeping and maintenance people were extremely nice and helpful. Excellent facilities and the Coffee making machine with Nesspresso style pods were a life-saver for espressos as I don't like Starbucks. Fees were around £150 and £100 deposit for a 5 night stay, really great location close to all Grand Central station, Times Square and Broadway. Lots of places to eat nearby. The only thing...

"Huone oli siivottu vähän huonosti. Sängyn alta löytyi jonkun käytetty kasvomaski, kertakäyttö lusikka ja hammasväliharja sekä pölyä. Hyvä pieni huone keskeisellä paikalla. Hyvät kulkuyhteydet kävellen, metrolla ja bussilla. Alakerrassa hyvä aamiaispaikka sekä ravintola. Ulkoa tuleva melu on ajottain kovaa. Ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta."

Good location but rooms need updating

"We stayed for two nights on a business trip. The location is great! The room was quite spacious but worn. Airconditionong was very loud and did not seem to be heating at all. You could hear the noise from the street very clearly so we had to sleep with noise cancelling headphones. The staff seemed frustrated in general and did not even wish us a good day when we left or ask how our stay was. We ender up changing hotels for our remaining 3 nights and it was definitely worth it."

Not worth the money

"The room looked very run down, stains EVERYWHERE, the textiles are very worn and old and stained, some of the electrical appliances didn’t work like some lights and the phone. Funniest thing though was that i paid for a nice view on a higher floor, but the massive and heavy light blocking curtain was broken and couldn’t be rolled up. I asked the staff to fix it but they didn’t, so i had to diy and prop it up myself to be able to see even half of the view that i paid for. Only good thing worth mentioning was the nice staff. This place is NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY. Very expensive for a low quality room."

"Hotelli oli toki arvostettu jo etukäteen kahdella tähdellä mutta kyllä huone olisi tarvinnut todella päivityksen, kylpyhuoneessa ainakin siellä peili rikki ja kylpyamme todella surkeassa kunnossa."
