”Very nice hotel, no lift but able to get help with luggage. Free EV charging included was brilliant. Lovely lounge & close to everything, lucky to get parking right near front door. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Good beds! ”

”We lucked out and got a room in the new building, which is quite nice. Unfortunately, we got the one room in the new building for which there is not a covered parking space underneath. We would definitely stay here again.”

”The hotel was our base for 4 days while walking the Snowies Alpine trail. It was basic but had comfortable beds, good showers and reasonable space. The balcony wasn’t accessible because it was in need of serious renovation. The food in the restaurant was just OK (it was the only place open for food in the village at the time we were there). ”

”Wonderful place and we were given a free upgrade to a recently refurbished cabin. Bed super comfortable and the outlook to the garden and kangaroos was delightful.”

”Olimme tässä hotellissa lopulta kaksi yötä ystävien kanssa. Paikasta oli näppärä käydä päivän vaellusreissulla Mount Kosciuszkolla, Australian korkeimmalla huipulla. Hotelli oli hienolla paikalla järven rannassa. Parvekkeelta oli hieno näkymä järvelle. Huone oli mukavan kokoinen ja siisti. Sänky oli hyvä. Buffet aamiainen oli monipuolinen ja hyvä. Uima-altaalle ei ehditty, oli jo suljettu kun tultiin illalla takaisin. Lähellä oli paljon ruokapaikkoja.”

”We’ve stayed in Cooma a number of times but this was our first time staying at Altair - it’s definitely our favourite, and we’ll definitely be back! Great location; great sized rooms; well-appointed kitchenette; friendly hosts; and we got to enjoy some of the fireworks from the Cooma Show”

”The only issue was that most of the motels in Cooma are on Sharpe street which is the main road and extending to the highway so lots of truck noise from 5 am ”
