”A great tiny cottage on a working farm. There are 6 cottages available each with a small private deck. We could go out at various hours to watch the northern lights without disturbing others. There is no TV but we had wifi and the amazing scenery to keep us occupied. The owner was helpful and breakfast great. Dinner is provided if requested in advance. Highly recommend. Cozy is the best word to describe it.”

”Die Unterkunft war einzigartig, schön ruhig und hatte eine Top Ausstattung. (Super süße Tassen und schöne Teller) Man konnte direkt von der Terrasse aus die Nordlichter sehen. Die Sauna war auch super. Alles was man zur Entspannung braucht. Ein toller einzigartiger Abschluss. Leider gab es kein Feuerholz, wir hätten gerne noch den Ofen ausprobiert. Für den Weg zur Cabin empfehle ich ein 4x4 Auto. Handtücher und sogar Hausschuhe waren vor Ort. Internet gibt es auch. Ich kann den Aufenthalt in...

”We are a group of five friends who planned this trip almost two years ago. We had to pick off season due to our schedules. The weather/wind in Iceland was the worst it has been in 10 years, and we briefly lost power. Our host brought us a generator, coffee, pastries, and kept us updated every step. They checked in on us often and responded immediately to any questions or concerns. They have a very detailed book on property with instructions for everything. The house is amazing and stayed warm...

”We loved our stay at this cottage in Iceland. It was a perfect spot for our exploring to Snæfellsnes. The cottage was wonderfully equipped with everything we needed and all instructions were clear and easy to follow. We settled right in. My teenager loved the loft and having the cool windows. Iceland is a long way from home for us but we would come back in a heartbeat.”

”My wife and I spent four nights in this duplex cottage in the town of Hellnar on the Snaefellsbaer Peninsula. We were greeted by an amazing display of the Northern Lights on our first night. The place was comfortable and quiet and had all the amenities needed to feel like home for a few days. The views are stunning--the sea in one direction and mountains and the volcano that dominates the west end of the peninsula in the other. There are several little places to eat within a 5-10 minutes...

”The cottage was compact and well equipped for 2 people. I liked the quiet location and easy parking. I had two caveats: large downloads and streaming was prohibited on the wifi and guests were requested to change the bedding, make up the bed for the next guests arriving.”

”We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here”

”This home was a perfect, cozy spot for our family (6 adults, 4 children) to relax after adventurous days exploring west Iceland! The location was quiet and private while also being a short drive to grocery stores, gas, and restaurants. The home was well stocked with essentials including plenty of towels for both shower and hot tub use. The owners provided detailed check-in instructions and responded to communications in a timely manner. We highly recommend this lovely home! ”

”Beautiful homes; we would definitely return! 10 of us enjoyed our stay at these two lovely homes. Both houses were clean, spacious, and well stocked. The windows in the main house were especially wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and dishes for our large group to have home cooked meals at the large table. We had trouble getting the lock box open (likely frozen shut) and the key to the second cottage was tricky / sticky and needed some extra finesse to get in/out....
