”This is our second year staying here in order to go on the Christmas train ride. It has always been clean and staff are friendly. The only issue we had this year was our tv went out and we called the front desk, they said to wiggle the cables etc and the internet may be not working. We tried all that, but it didnt work. ”Booked a cabin last minute during a snow storm for me and my two Border Collies. The owner actually called me to make sure that I knew it was a camping cabin - which I thought was super nice. He brought down a second heater in case the first one didn’t warm the cabin up enough. It was a camping cabin so rustic. ”Communication with the community was exceptional! Accidentally entered wrong date of arrival but attendant from the facility called me immediately and kindly changed the date without hesitation and even offered a better room. It was Christmas eve and the office communicated to make sure they would still be in the office when we arrived to ensure we received keys. They waited until we arrived and check in was so easy. ”The room was comfortable however, our room was not ready for check-in at 3 PM and we were not able to get into our room until close to 7 PM. The staff did not keep us updated and told us they had no idea when our room would be ready. The property itself feels dated and has a dirty feeling to it. The staff were not overly friendly or entirely helpful when it came to check in or finding our rooms or getting dinner. We will likely not stay again at the resort as a result of our experience.”
