”Grand old hotel. Sorry to hear that they will be destroying the charm of the lace with their expansion.”

”Very welcoming, small inn with accommodating staff. The included breakfast was excellent. However, being an historic building, expect a bit more extraneous noise from other rooms and staff. And those with mobility issues should call the hotel before booking. Most, if not all, rooms require climbing stairs. Parking can also be an issue, as the hotel has no parking lot and you must park along the street.”

”This was very nice place to Be. We liked very much! We had plenty Space. Everything was clean. And we were very welcome- we thought too. Little sidewalk to The gardens and Seaside, quiet area.We can only recommend this place! ”

Breakfast times set to fit with your schedule Having SCAD students helping with service was also great. Can’t say enough positives about the stay we had at the Williams House. ”

”Beautiful historic home. Our hostess is very friendly and the cookies are delicious. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch, meeting the neighborhood cats, and watching the neighbors go by. ”

”Stay was great. Was a little disappointed that our room was in the basement. The inn was not filled so would have loved to been upgraded to a room in the house. Also, the bathroom was tough. Our shower flooded our bathroom each day. Service was great, very friendly. ”

”The front desk person, Abigail, was just the person I needed for my half marathon race weekend. My flight was delayed by hours and had to check in after hours. She left a bagel for me so I wouldn’t run on an empty stomach and was leaving the Inn at 6:30 am. I didn’t get back until 11:30 am and she messaged me asked me how the race went and shared space with me on everything. Even though it was after breakfast hours she offered me iced coffee and a scone. I couldn’t have asked for a better...

”Stayed here for a mother-daughter trip & loved it! Very clean rooms, delicious breakfast, & a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. Beach towels and other basics are provided to you. Only a few minutes from the marine science center, lighthouse, etc. My only tiny complaint is that our room on the first floor was a little tight and would probably be better for a solo traveler, but I know they can’t do much regarding room sizes! Overall 5 stars :)”

”Good place to stay, right down town. Easy access. Architectural find! Love all the space inside felt like a home. Only thing to improve were the pocket doors, they never staye open. Fix that and it would be perfect. ”
