”I always stay at the YHA Cairns Central because the location is so convenient, right opposite a large, air conditioned shopping centre, buses right outside the door and friendly service but I did find my room hugely over priced, (I stayed in a queen sized room with an ensuite)...$150 a night!! Great facilities, and service but found the price very disappointing; for that price I thought at least a hair dryer, little shampoos, etc and coffee and tea making facilities would have been included ”

”Room was ok, bed wasn't so good and the room was full of ants though. Beware of ants! They will find they way to the sweet things, even you haven't open the bag yet. ”No code for check in was sent. we had to ask another guest for a number to contact the property manager as the number given through the website says it's disconnected. Eventually we were able to retrieve keys at nearly 3pm. The driveway upto the property is dirt and in extremely bad condition, not suitable for small hire cars! This was not stated on website! Bathroom didn't accomodate the 3 of us who were staying there with linen and toiletries. The pool/spa was heated beautifully but the spa...
