”We were told it was a straight 5 minute walk from RFP to the motel, but the motel 's car gates were locked and the receptionist didn't have a key! So we had to hike up and around a hill in the dark to get there. $12USD breakfast was coffee, juice, a croissant and cereal. Meh. Bed was adequate, room was clean, and AC worked. ”

”This accommodation is a private room adjacent to the owner’s home. The location is excellent for exploring Raiatea and joining local tours. A good small grocery store is just steps away, and a large Carrefour in town is within biking distance. The room is comfortable, and the bathroom feels new, clean, and fresh. Outside, there is a seating area with chairs, a table, and patio umbrellas, offering views of the lush green mountains. A few friendly and adorable dogs stop by from time to time,...

”We loved our stay here. This is one of the only properties with direct beach access. We took the paddle boards and kayaks over the coral reef lagoon. We took amazing sunset pictures off the over the water bungalow docks. The restaurant had a busy night life “salsa night” on the last Sunday of the month which we got to be a part of. The pool is fantastic. The beds were so comfortable. I really enjoyed the stay ”
