”The hotel is inside a medieval castle and the style is according to that. Overall a pleasant stay! The restaurant was also good, although one of the main dishes was not in the level of a high class restaurant. But otherwise the food and service was great!”

”Hotel is mooi gelegen. Ondanks dat het ligt aan een drukke, doorgaande weg hebben wij dit nooit als bezwaar ervaren. Op loopafstand zijn cafés en winkels. Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Voor het ontbijt was een goed aanbod van brood, croissants, yoghurt, e.d. Onze kamer was netjes en het bed werd elke dag opgemaakt. Altijd werd er water in flesjes neergezet als het op was. ”Don't let the tired facade put you off, the room was clean and in good condition. Air conditioning was cold and the shower was hot and good pressure. The bed was comfy and the location is perfect, right next to the train station. Don't judge a book by it's cover!”

”This is the type of place I expected in a small town in Belgium; a little outdated but a friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays to give the help the day off but they still had a limited menu for the guests. They offered steak, local trout, and quiche. These were all very good. All in all, this is a gem off the beaten path. ”
