”Loved the location. Closer to Flinders Chase and Seal Bay. Beach walking distance. Store at corner was multi functional. Lots of room to spread out. Enjoyed the large deck.”

”Is a nice house with all ammenities , recently updated , nice kitchen etc. only downside is small aircon in main room . Day we arrived it was warm so the house was really hot and stuffy , took forever to cool down. Also the windows can’t have open at night because there’s holes in wire mesh so u get heaps of bugs come in( which we found out) . And the other downfall is bedroom and the deck side of main room doesn’t have windows u can open so when there’s a breeze u can’t cool bedroom down ”

”Highly recommend Ocean View at Vivonne Bay! The name says it all -- it definitely has the best view in town. The accommodations were perfect for my husband, adult daughter and I. This was our first visit to Kangaroo Island and we found Vivonne Bay to be a great location to explore the island from. Highlights were feeding the wallabies carrots every evening and watching them from the deck and the gorgeous sunrises over the bay. ”

”John was an excellent host and the feeding of kangaroos and iguana was an absolut highlight for us.The house is a little remote (9 km from main street) but it is an incredible experience to be that cöose wirh the animals! We‘ve loved it!”

”New furniture in room was nice & bed was comfy , definitely need an extra blanket though . Kitchen wasn’t clean , light globes need replacing , floors needed cleaning & outside was very dirty . Fantastic staff & food at the pub . ”

”This property is gorgeous. A very private setting with beautiful views of river and bush and we had stunning sunsets to enjoy. The two kyaks were such a bonus as the river was glassy for 2 days while we there. The pool table was fun too even though in need of repair and levelling. A superb spot to go.”
