Huvilat – Scotland Cay

”The villa is down the road from the Bahama Beach Club, which is where the bar and restaurants are, but I prefer this location because it's more quaint and private. Neighbors are so friendly. We met people we will keep in touch with and meet back there again. The villa is cute and has all the amenities you could possible need. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great but we took a boat to Guana Cay and Nippers for snorkeling and a ferry to Green Turtle Cay to feed the stingrays and turtles....

”This property was very comfortable for our two week stay. It is exactly as described in the listing. Jill (part owner), and Martha (caretaker) were both very responsive to any needs we had. The beach was incredible. We made a lot of use of the included golf cart. We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone with a group of 4 or less. ”Once we got past some initial communication challenges regarding location and checkin, the property was very nice. Clean, good towel supply, nice sheltered seating area for windy days, lots of walking options…either beach or sidewalks. ”

”I’m a heavy user of vacation rentals and this place made all of the others look like a hostel. The view is amazing and you’ll be able to use their kayak and tons of water toys (and even water shoes!!) to explore the shallow, calm water that occasional has a turtle or a ray in it. There’s everything you could ever need in the house and then some. We just kept walking around all week and saying “wow they thought of [insert super nice and useful thing we didn’t expect]!” The WiFi is super strong...

”Really great spot in Hopetown! The location is ideal but you do have to take a dinghy across a small bay. The house is great and has everything you need. You can take the host’s dinghy into town and get dinner (how cool, right ?!) or just use it to cross the small bay to get to the mainland/your golf cart. Karen was super helpful with any recommendations or issues we had. Great value too! Wouldn’t hesitate to book again. PS (and best part) you get to meet the host’s chocolate lab Roley!”
